Gesture is a kiln cast glass form developed through the lense of post digital craft, where digitality operates as infrastructure shaping matter and time. Its form emerges through immersive VR environments that enable spatial navigation, volumetric drawing and continuous modulation unconstrained by physical limits. Shared VR spaces act as distributed studios, enabling remote participants to co compose form and redistribute authorship. Woven accumulations across the surface register this choreography of distributed gestures.
This work proposes kiln casting as a translation event between worlds: from distributed meta-space to physical gravity, from code to heat, from shared gesture to geological solidity.
